Former intern experience at Suna Kıraç Library – Jackie Kilby, MLS Student, University of South Carolina :
“Having the opportunity to take part in an internship at Koç University has been a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The Suna Kıraç Library staff provided a welcoming and friendly environment while sharing their archiving and library practices. By interning overseas, I was given a unique opportunity to expand my knowledge of library procedures as well as Turkey’s culture and history. The University International Community Office assisted me with housing and any questions or concerns, so as an international traveler this provided significant ease to my stay. This was an amazing experience which I highly recommend to any MLS/MLIS student.”
