Library Director, Blake Memorial Library, East Corinth, VT

The Blake Memorial Library in East Corinth, Vermont seeks a well-organized, energetic self-starter for the position of Library Director.  The director will oversee all aspects of library functions including, but not limited to, programming, purchasing and cataloging of new materials, supervision of volunteers and staff, and assisting patrons with their information needs. This position requires a candidate who is tech savvy, creative, has excellent communication and people skills, and appreciates the important role of the library in a small rural community. Also important is a broad-based familiarity with the various genres of literature. The successful candidate will be expected to work toward the Vermont Public Library certification.

This is a year-round, 30 hour per week position starting June 1, 2016.
