Paid Summer Intern, National Museum of Women in the Arts, Washington DC

The Massachusetts State Committee of the National Museum of Women in the Arts (MA-NMWA) offers one endowed internship during the 2016 summer term. This 40-hour per week, 12-week internship pays a $2,500 stipend to help defray costs of living in Washington, D.C. For more information about the internship:

ELIGIBILITY:

The MA-NMWA Endowed Internship is open to graduate students currently attending a Massachusetts university or post-graduate students with ties to Massachusetts. Candidates must be interested in pursuing museum careers. They must be graduate students or recent graduate school graduates with at least a 3.25 cumulative grade point average.

HOW TO APPLY:

You may apply for up to three internships per season using our online application. For each internship you apply to, you must include a cover letter, resume, two letters of recommendation, an unofficial transcript, and a writing sample. You must specify which endowed internship you would like to apply for on each application and in each cover letter. You may apply for multiple endowed internships, but you cannot be awarded more than one per season. Applicants should upload all documents in PDF format in the electronic application.
