Commonwealth School, a small independent day high school in Boston, is seeking a Librarian and Instructional Technology Specialist to manage and run all aspects of the school library program and to support the school’s technology committee. The position will begin the summer of 2016.

The librarian will also serve as the school’s specialist in instructional technology, promoting the exploration of different academic technologies, researching their pedagogical efficacy, and working with interested teachers to implement these thoughtfully in and outside the classroom.

The ideal candidate will have an MLS from an ALA-accredited program, a minimum of two years’ relevant experience, a strong interest in educational technology, the ability to work independently on self-directed projects, and the ability and desire to collaborate with colleagues.
