Job Summary:
Koç University Suna Kıraç Library is seeking full-time librarians with strong user service experience/skills, proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, and interest in learning new skills.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in librarianship from an ALA-accredited program
- At least 1 to 3 years part-time or full-time experience working
- Demonstrated excellence in oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated analytical and problem solving ability
- Ability to work effectively with a culturally diverse population
Desired Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and/or Turkish
- Knowledge of integrated library systems, Library of Congress classification, OCLC, MARC records and current technologies
- Strong commitment to user satisfaction
