The Rutgers Department of Library and Information Science is offering  British Collections and Archives, a three-credit hybrid summer session course, which will be based at Wroxton College in England, with additional course sessions online. The trip will include visits to libraries in London and surrounding areas, including the British Library and the British Archives, the Bodleian Library at Oxford University, the Library of the Shakespeare Center at Stratford-upon-Avon, and other public and academic libraries. The course also features lectures by noted British scholars and librarians on trends in academic and public libraries, digital preservation and archives in British libraries. Additionally, here will be free time to explore on your own, including a day in London.  The trip is organized and led by Kay A. Cassell and Marie L. Radford. 

The approximate costs include room and board (breakfast, lunch, dinner, morning coffee and tea) at Wroxton College,  transportation to each library, and transportation from the airport to Wroxton for those arriving with the group, and transportation back to the airport. Summer session enrollment begins February 15.  A $1,500 deposit for the trip will be required by March 15.

The costs are as follows: Room and Board (8 days) $1,346 and Program costs $1,284 (Total $2,630). The additional costs are the plane fare and the tuition for the 3 credit course.
