The Morse Institute Library is looking for a part-time non-benefited Reference Librarian to join our innovative team 12 hours per week.
Duties/Description: Are you interested in working in a stimulating environment where people of all ages engage, connect and learn? Position requires 3 four hour shifts each week: one Saturday, one evening, and one weekday; and flexibility to work additional shifts on an as needed basis.
Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Library or Information Science from an accredited institution. 1-3 years experience in reference at a public library preferred.
Experience delivering the latest in reference services and knowledge of current trends in libraries; a genuine commitment to excellent customer service; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; along with patience, a sense of humor, tact, flexibility and timeliness are all desired.
Salary: Salary range is $28.343-33.762/hour.
