Job Description: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week, 12 month position: Benefits eligible

If you have the following credentials and experiences, and you are a team player, the Director and library staff invite you to apply for the position of Children’s Librarian at the Auburn Public Library.

A Master’s in Library and Information Science is required. A minimum of one year experience as a Children’s Librarian, focusing on ages 0-12, is desired.

The ideal candidate will also bring the skills or potential and desire to learn: program development and support ; collection development; cataloging; budgeting; excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills; some experience with Young Adults; outstanding patron services; experience with Evergreen; and basic-moderate technology skills.
