Part-time Technology Assistant, Morrill Memorial Library, Norwood, MA

The Morrill Memorial Library in Norwood is searching for a qualified library science student (or related field) or professional MLS to assist the library’s Technology Librarian. This is a maximum of ten hours per week. All hours to be worked in the library. Flexible scheduling. The successful applicant will begin work in January 2016.
Norwood is a community of 29,000. The library is a 28,000 square foot facility near the center of town and employs 54 full- and part-time staff members in 9 departments. The Morrill Memorial Library is located within walking distance of two commuter rail stations and is on the public bus line. There is adequate parking onsite.
Student or professional with relevant experience in web design, application support, and common business and library systems. Strong customer service skills with the public are required. Qualified applicant must be able to work independently and complete tasks given by library professionals.
$21.00 – $24.00 per hour
