Electronic Resources Librarian, Norwich University, Northfield, VT

The Kreitzberg Library at Norwich University seeks an energetic, service-oriented librarian to join the library team. The Electronic Resources Librarian coordinates all processing activities associated with electronic resources, ensures continued access to electronic resources, and works with faculty and Kreitzberg Library staff and departments to develop library electronic collections. Teaches in the Library’s information literacy curriculum, contributes to Library’s Web services, and provides reference service, which may include some evening and weekend hours. Also serves as a member of the library faculty and liaison to several academic departments, plus other duties as assigned. Recent graduates of MLS programs are encouraged to apply.

Required Qualifications: MLS degree from an ALA-accredited program. Knowledge of trends in scholarly publishing and emerging models of acquisition and collection development. Familiarity with tools and services that are used to provide access to electronic resources (OpenURL resolvers, discovery tools, etc.). Willingness to provide reference assistance, instruction, and departmental liaison duties.

Salary: $47,500.00
