Part-time Evening and Weekend Supervisor, Clark University, Worcester, MA

High energy, customer-service oriented individual needed to supervise Clark University library operations during weekend and evening hours. Duties include supervising and scheduling students; maintaining building security; circulation; stacks maintenance; providing general public services support when full-time staff are not available; and other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree required. Excellent problem solving and communications skills required. Previous experience in an automated academic library environment preferred.

Annual work schedule of approximately August 15 to May 15. Hours may vary from semester to semester but the work schedule usually includes two weekday evenings from 7pm to midnight; and two weekend slots Saturdays and Sundays, AM or PM. This position is 20 hours per week/ 9 months per year with summers off. The work schedule for this year is expected to be Tuesday 7pm-midnight, Wednesday 7pm-midnight, Saturday 5pm-10pm and Sunday 11am-4pm. Starting hourly rate is $ $14.00-$14.50 depending on experience.
