Head of Youth Services, Kelley Library, Salem, NH

The Kelley Library is looking for a creative, innovative, forward thinking self-starter to be the Head of the Youth Services Department. Responsibilities include development and implementation of programming, marketing, outreach, and collection development for children up to age 18, with a particular focus on ages 10 and up. The Library is looking for someone ready to bring innovation, strong interpersonal skills, deep knowledge and appreciation of youth literature, and fresh energy to serving the youth of the community.

Minimum of 3 years of working with teens and children, library experience preferred. Sound knowledge of modern library principles and service trends; good communication skills; and ability to work positively with the public and staff. ALA accredited MLIS.
