Digital Library Subject Matter Expert, National Association of State Workforce Agencies, Washington, DC

The National Association of State Workforce Agencies’ (NASWA) Unemployment Integrity Team is seeking to hire a part-time Digital Library Subject Matter Expert to assist with establishing the Unemployment Insurance Digital Library for Integrity (UIDL). 

The purpose of the UIDL is to provide easy access to research, training, materials, and other resources for state unemployment insurance agencies, and enhance states’ abilities to access resources to prevent and detect improper payments and fraud, and to recover any improper payments made. 

We are seeking candidates who have earned at least a Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science, Digital Media, or related subject. S/he should have at least 3 years of experience in planning, developing, launching, managing, and/or supporting digital library(ies), and a strong working knowledge of library tools, methods, and/or practices for collections, cataloging, indexing, licensing and rights, security, and archiving.
