The Manchester City Library in Manchester, NH is seeking a part-time librarian.

The Job:

Provides public library services at a library location. The principal function of an employee in this class is to provide reader’s advisory, informational, technology and program services through a library location; performs directly related work as required.

Starting Pay: $19.20 per hour

Part time: 20 hours per week – may include nights and weekends

Minimum Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master of Library Science, Computer Science, Public Relations Degree or related; and some library experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the work.

NOTE: Offer of hire conditional on candidate’s ability to perform essential job functions, with or without accommodations, as determined by passing a medical exam, including alcohol and drug tests and a thorough background investigation.
