Hillside School is an independent boarding and day school for boys in grades 5-9 from Massachusetts and around the world. We provide a rich and supportive environment in which boys come together to learn, play, and grow under the guidance of our dedicated faculty and staff. We support a diversity of learning styles and offer a rich Tutorial program as well as a full range of Arts programs and Athletics, including an Eco Team that takes advantage of our full working farm and greenhouse. We are looking for an experienced librarian and teacher to run our Messman – Saran Library. We seek a librarian/media specialist and teacher who brings a passion for reading and engaging middle school boys in grades 5 – 9. Duties will include collection development, collaboration with the faculty to build and support inquiry-based research projects, as well as direct work with students on all aspects of information literacy. The position will also include teaching two classes in an area of the candidate’s expertise, advising students, assisting with our yearbook, and being part of a small and supportive boarding and day school community.
