Part-Time Internship, Harvard Open Access Project, Cambridge, MA

Join the Harvard Open Access Project! The Berkman Center’s Harvard Open Access Project (HOAP) is looking for part-time Assistant for help with a summer project. This is a temporary role.

About you:

You will become a member of the HOAP team and participate in a summer publication project. Your work will involve word processing, proofreading, and related tasks. A successful applicant will be detail-oriented, flexible, hard-working, able to meet deadlines, and experienced with word processing and proofreading. Familiarity with Google Docs and Microsoft Word is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Word processing and proofreading skills
  • Detail-oriented with ability to manage time.

Benefits/Other Information:

  • This is a short-term position. With a start date in July, the position will extend for 4-7 weeks at 10 hours per week depending on start date and the needs of the project.
  • Compensation is $11.50/hour.   
  • No other benefits are provided.
  • Work must be completed in the state of MA.  Most of the work may be done offsite from the Berkman Center offices, however occasional meetings in Cambridge may be necessary.
  • Unfortunately we are not able to sponsor a visa for this position.
  • The start date is negotiable, though we will prefer candidates who can start close to July 15, 2015.
