Seeking a dynamic, creative individual with a passion for children’s literature and services for a busy newly constructed library. 

MLS preferred, Bachelors’ with coursework towards an MLS and one year full time children’s library experience minimum. Job description available online at www.athollibrary.org. Full description here.

Duties include: children’s programming; supervision, training and scheduling for staff of 3 plus volunteers; materials selection; assist with grant writing. 

37 hours per week, some evening or weekend hours. Excellent fringe benefits. 

Deadline:  July 31, 2015 or until filled. 

Union position, salary: Grade 8 range $35,055 – $41,848 but hiring at Step 1 or 2 depending on qualifications.
