Job Requirements
Please note that this is not a summer internship. To be considered for the position, the candidate must be available for a full-time position and be prepared to continue in the fall. Summer only candidates will not be considered.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Demonstrated Interest in editorial and children’s publishing – either based on your major or previous internships/work experience
- Cooperative, positive attitude.
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- General office and Mac/PC computer experience.
- Might be in a stationary position for a considerable time (sitting and/or standing).
- The person in this position needs to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
- Must be able to collaborate with colleagues via face to face, conference calls, and online meetings.
