Derby Academy in Hingham, Massachusetts is seeking an experienced, collaborative full-time Librarian for the 2015-2016 school year. The position requires expertise in 21st century library practices including information literacy and technical instruction for students. The librarian oversees all aspects of library management as well as plans and teaches information/media literacy and research process appropriate for grades 4 through 6. The librarian will work closely with the Director of Innovation for implementing educational technology with the faculty of this PK-8 school. Candidates for the position should have a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Services as well as knowledge and experience in technology applications and ability to use web tools.
