Harborlight-Stoneridge is a nonprofit private school founded in 1973 that currently enrolls 230 children ages 6 months to 14 years throughout the calendar year. 

We are currently seeking a part-time Librarian to manage our library and teach library science for children in pre-school through eighth grade.  The qualified candidate will play an important role in helping to foster a love of learning among our students.  Partnering with faculty, the Librarian will empower students to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers, and ethical users of information.  Keyboarding and online research will also be taught by the Librarian.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree preferred from a program accredited by the American Library Association (or from a master’s level program in library and information studies accredited or recognized by the appropriate national body of another country)
• At least three years’ experience in a school environment preferred
• Organized and creative communicator and collaborator
