The Library serves the diverse clinical and academic environment needs of the students and faculty of the Cooper Medical School Rowan University, located in Camden, NJ. Additionally, the library continues to serve the needs of the Cooper University Hospital, a 450-bed teaching hospital founded in 1887. One of the newest medical schools in the nation, CMSRU welcomed its inaugural class in August 2012. The primary focus of this position is to perform literature searches and provide advanced research assistance to students and faculty, as well as hospital staff and administration, to support clinical care and research. This includes training library clients to become efficient and effective users of available information resources and tools in the service of clinical care. Duties may include CMSRU curricular instruction.

Qualifications Required
- Master’s Degree from an ALA accredited school
- Three years of reference experience in an academic health sciences library OR undergraduate or advanced degree in physical, health, or life sciences
Qualifications Preferred
- Knowledge and skills required by the MLA Policy Statement on Expert Searching
- Demonstrate excellent teaching ability in both a group setting and through one-on-one instruction
- Knowledge of, and experience in, working with Evidence-Based Medicine
