Executive Curator Intern, Fidelity, Boston, MA
Posted May 4, 2015
The need to preserve and record the history of Fidelity is of paramount importance. Throughout the firm’s history, many of the industry’s leading minds have contributed to Fidelity’s current successes as well as the evolution of the financial services industry. The primary task of the Curator Intern is to establish and maintain control over physical items of enduring value to the firm and a senior executive. The intern will inventory items, a process that requires an understanding of the historical context in which the items were obtained, and their relationships to Fidelity’s history and the personal histories of this executive. Moreover, as the intern catalogs, documents, and properly stores the items, they should do so in order for the items to be retrieved with ease. The Curator Intern will additionally support an upcoming publication chronicling the Fidelity story through this senior executive whose impact on the firm has been invaluable.
