Duties/Description

The Sherborn Library is seeking a qualified candidate for the part-time position of Technical Services Librarian (25 hours per week). The position is responsible for cataloging, data entry, and processing all library print, digital, equipment and AV material using Sierra, the Minuteman Library Network integrated library software. Duties include office management, installation and management of technology resources and administrative assistance to the Library Director.

Qualifications

Applicants should hold the Master Degree in Library and lnformation Science or progress towards the MLS, or comparable education and experience in information technology or data science with demonstrated acumen to learn library cataloging/classification procedures.

Salarv

Part-time salary $31,590 for 25 hours per week, including monthly Saturdays and a weekly night shift rotation. Town benefit package offered.
