We are seeking a spring-summer intern from the School of Library and Information Sciences to work on an important project for a cutting-edge special education technology start-up. We are looking for a graduate student with distinct knowledge of taxonomies, information/database science, and semantic web analysis to work on a project to do research and build a first-of-its-kind database of important disability-specific information that will help special educators and students with diverse needs in K-12 education. This is a great opportunity for someone in library science to gain unique experience in working for a start-up, while creating the foundations for a database that could have profound impact in the field of special education.
