Support the Le Cordon Blue community by leading and maintaining the library collections of books, serial publications, documents, multimedia, and other materials, and assist groups and individuals in locating and obtaining materials. Work with assigned faculty to coordinate the peer tutoring program.
- Supervise daily operations and performance of the library
- Coordinate peer tutoring program
- Furnish information on library activities, facilities, rules, and services
- Obtain, compile and report on statistics related to library services
- Describe or demonstrate procedures for navigating the public access catalog or electronic resources, such as databases
- Search files, reference shelves, and computerized information systems to locate requested information
- Order, receive, and catalog materials for circulation or for use in library, and supervise preparation of received materials
- Assemble, arrange, and maintain reference and circulation materials
- Answer correspondence on special reference subjects
- Prepare or assists in preparation of budget and financial reports
- Investigate technologies that will improve service
- Participate in a monthly call with Regional Librarians
- Effectively manage student workers

Required Experience Required Experience:
- Master’s degree (M. A.) from a Council for Higher Education (CHEA) accredited institution in Library Science required. ALA accredited program preferred
- 2-5 year of library experience, academic library experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
- Must be flexible to work some evenings
