The Brookline Public Library is a vital community center, with a main library and two branch libraries that boast some of the highest circulation numbers in the State of MA.  We are seeking a technology professional to provide leadership and technical expertise in the selection, development, and implementation of library information technologies. Under the direction of the Library Director, the Assistant Director for Technology will be responsible for the integration and maintenance of all automated systems and equipment, and supervision of up to 10 full time librarians, interns and volunteers. Strong social media and marketing skills and a highly developed understanding of emerging technologies. Masters in Library Science from an A.L.A.-accredited institution preferred; additional training in library technology, computer hardware and network maintenance, and desktop applications; five years of experience in library technical services with at least two years of related supervisory experience. Salary DOQ $75-$80K plus generous benefits. For more detail go to www.brooklinema.gov.
