Administrative Assistant (part-time), MAVEN Project, Newton, MA

The MAVEN Project is seeking a reliable, experienced, detail-oriented and technologically savvy part-time administrative assistant for our early-stage organization. This position requires set hours each week (some of which may be conducted remotely), to be arranged between the administrative assistant and the Executive Director. Pay will be commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Importing data into, maintaining and updating our database
  • Managing email campaigns and paper correspondence
  • Creating Excel files and Powerpoint presentations
  • Scheduling and coordinating appointments
  • Preparing and submitting expense reports
  • Performing other miscellaneous tasks and projects

Skills/Experience:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Prior office experience in a corporate or business setting
  • Exceptional organizational skills with close attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Mac operating system
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Salesforce and Constant Contact

The MAVEN Project addresses the unmet healthcare needs of underserved U.S. populations seeking services at safety net clinics by creating a corps of experienced volunteer physicians comprised of alumni from the nation’s medical schools and affiliated training programs. Utilizing cutting edge telehealth technology to enable remote consultations, the MAVEN Project links volunteers with safety net clinics in need of their expertise.
