Social Media Intern
The Jewish Women’s Archive seeks a creative, independent, and visual self-starter who loves pop culture, current events, and history, particularly as these topics relate to Jewish women.
In this position, you will work with the Director of Engagement and Social Media to help:
- Build JWA’s presence on Twitter and Pinterest
- Edit and publish blog pieces
- Work on photoshop-based projects
- Record audio and film for JWA’s blog
Depending on your level of experience, you may be given the opportunity to take the lead on projects as well.
Hours: Minimum of 20 per week, in JWA’s Brookline, MA office.
All internships are unpaid.
Photo Intern
The Jewish Women’s Archive seeks a visual and independent person who enjoys research and searching for photographs to accompany written profiles of noteworthy Jewish women. In this position, you will work with the Web Content Editor to:
- Help identify pictures in the public domain to enhance the jwa.org/people section of our website
- Tag those pictures in keeping with the JWA taxonomy
- Post pictures onto the website
Hours: Minimum of 20 per week, in JWA’s Brookline, MA office.
