Associate Digital Archivist, AQUENT, Providence, RI

Job Description:

Aquents client, a Global Toy Company, located in Providence, RI is looking for an Associate Digital Archivist for a year long contract! This position is fulltime, onsite at the client’s office.

In this role you will be responsible for knowing restrictions associated with certain assets/categories of assets ie, Disney.

  • You will work extensively with the our client’s Content Service Portal…releasing and prepping files to upload to portal. Role will be supporting Toy and Game, but mostly toy.
  • You will be facilitating photography from manufacturing sites
  • High volume of photography coming in from and will need to be released
  • This role has A LOT OF PRODUCT PHOTO MANAGEMENT
  • Critical that contractor release assets based on time lines passed to them by marketing. You will also be educating others on searching and finding assets/and trouble shooting.
  • Team and role will partner with IP security to monitor the release of restricted assets. They will respond to asset requests and confirm it’s okay to send assets to recipients.
  • They are deadline driven, but not as fast-paced as design groups in PDS….the deal will final packaging files, audio, copy, video, photos…everything comes to them after it is finalized.
  • The team of 4 is quiet, but super friendly, not techie..they talk in laypersons’ terms, down to earth…they go out for lunches and have good camaraderie.

Must have:

  • Strong communication and customer service skills…dealing a lot with internal clients, good email communication
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Team player…need to handle multiple projects.

Other Requirements:

The Ideal Candidate will have:

  • 1-3 years digital asset mngt
  • BA in Library Science or Graphics or Photography
  • Self prioritizing and directedness is HUGE

Wage/​Salary:

$18/hr + Benefits
