Children’s Librarian (part-time), Needham Free Public Library, Needham, MA

The desired candidate will answer questions about the collection, the library catalog and databases, offer readers’ advisory services, and answer other patron inquiries. Some coordinating and presenting of children’s programs is required. Familiarity with automated library systems, ability to perform detailed work accurately and efficiently, ability to adapt to new technologies, knowledge of trouble shooting computers and printers, experience with delivery of a variety of story time formats and craft activities. Candidate must have Masters Degree in Library Science or be a currently enrolled candidate.

Wage/Salary: $21.49 per hour
