Carleton College is seeking a Collections Strategy and Development Librarian. This position provides leadership, vision and strategic direction for the Carleton College Library in the development and management of its collections in all established and emerging formats, ensuring that the scope and caliber of library resources support the curriculum and mission of the college. Working collaboratively with library staff, faculty, and consortia partners, the position develops and implements collections policies and strategies and is responsible for acquisitions budgets, overseeing approval plans and collection evaluation. The incumbent will be a member of the library leadership team.
Carleton College Library is a member of Bridge, a highly collaborative consortium with the St. Olaf College Libraries. As a member of the Bridge Consortium, the Collections Strategy and Development Librarian will work collaboratively and in tandem with peers at the St. Olaf College Libraries.
