Skills:
- Degree in library science, information science, or related field
- Education or experience in knowledge management and/or records management
- Education or experience with digital taxonomy and metadata creation and management
- Operational knowledge of creative filetypes and software such as:
- Adobe Creative Cloud; Photoshop, Bridge, Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign.
- Experience with managing digital assets and their associated usage rights.
- Design and/or retouching experience is a plus.
- Web Development experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Envision, structure, and manage the company’s new enterprise DAM and/or intellectual property database
- Collect and organize the company’s intellectual and creative assets, including presentations, creative designs, images, portfolios, thought leadership, etc.
- Develop and maintain a taxonomy and metadata system that powers search and retrieval.
- Administrate rights and access to the DAM and other IP-related systems
- Manage all assets related to one of our automotive clients (and eventually expand to other clients).
- Archive, maintain, and update all assets related to the brand that we receive.
- Accountable for delivering the correct asset attributes per the client requirements (e.g. metadata, resolution, file format, etc)
- Act as a resource to the Design teams when assets are needed for projects.
- Work with other external teams and agencies to create, obtain, and distribute assets.
- Manage all rights, usage, expiration, approvals, and versioned asset-related media associated with the brand.
- Assist in retouching (or scheduling retouching with other design teams) of images that require it and actively follow its approval path.
