The Leominster Public Library seeks a highly motivated, innovative individual with a commitment to outstanding public service to lead its busy Adult Services Department. Experience working with a wide-variety of age groups, knowledge of collection development and grant writing, strong computer skills and supervisory experience necessary. Effective oral and written communication skills, sound judgment in dealing with staff and patrons, good problem solving abilities, and demonstrated knowledge of the mission of the public library in the 21st century essential. MLS from an ALA accredited program with 3-5 years of experience in public library services, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Salary range $47,371 to $61,140 in 8 steps, with a non-negotiable starting salary of $47,371 and benefits.
