Metadata Management Librarian, Librarian Associate Professor (Position# 001537)
The University of Miami Libraries seeks a creative, enthusiastic professional for the position of Metadata Management Librarian. Reporting to the Head of Cataloging & Metadata Services, the Metadata Management Librarian will focus on the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of metadata across multiple discovery platforms and library systems. This newly-defined position will provide resource discovery expertise across a variety of formats, ensure the quality of metadata in the resource discovery tools, develop new approaches to metadata processes, manage projects, and consult with various stakeholders.
