RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Research, through Internet searches and phone interviews to support the marketing materials and business development efforts of the Preservation Practice Sector – identifying academic campuses with significant historic buildings & creating contact lists for outreach
– Organizing electronic information and data on past projects to enhance consistency of materials
– Working with a small internal committee to provide a graphic system for documenting design goals on projects across the firm including planning projects, restorations and new design
– Gathering information for and possibly writing blogs and white papers on design issues
– Depending on skillset, creating graphic illustrations for enhancement of project award submittals
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
– High School graduate, 1-2 years of undergraduate study
– Undergraduate focus in history, architecture, environmental design, planning, English or film is preferred
– Demonstrated experience in a professional office
– Proficiency in hand sketching a plus
– Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, desirable
– Excellent organizational and communications skills
– A positive, can-do attitude
COMPENSATION / BENEFITS:
– Hourly position; compensation commensurate with experience
