Michigan Technological University’s J. Robert Van Pelt and John and Ruanne Opie Library welcomes applications for the position of Instruction Specialist from individuals enthusiastic about delivering instruction and learning services at the highest levels of quality and service. This position provides a variety of opportunities to work with a team of experienced, highly innovative librarians to deliver and assess instructional programming at an institution where information literacy is an adopted undergraduate learning goal tied to the university’s undergraduate learning outcomes. This is a one-year fixed term position with an appointment period of 7/1/2014-6/30/2015. Should further funding become available and a satisfactory performance review, there is possibility of extending the position beyond this term.
