Job Summary:
Literati is designed to facilitate collaboration among information stakeholders, enabling subscribers to connect disparate information resources and fulfill their strategies for overall improvement in the quality of research, information search skills, user satisfaction, faculty engagement and cost savings.
The instructional technology intern position will be filled by creative and enthusiastic individuals who demonstrate an understanding of current multimedia and instructional technologies. The intern will assist in developing web-based instructional materials, such as videos, tutorials, interactive modules and more. With a specific focus on graphic design, Joomla, and basic web technology, the individuals will play key roles in designing innovative and robust educational materials.
About the Internship:

You will research new and innovative technologies.

You will create engaging powerpoint tutorials.

You will perform some HTML coding in the administrative back-end of Joomla.

You will document all projects in the relevant systems.

You will conduct quality-control reviews as needed.
About You:

You are currently enrolled in a MLS graduate program.

You have a strong desire (and preferably some knowledge/skill) using e-Learning tools.

You have some experience with HTML (and/or Javascript preferred).

You are an excellent communicator and have solid interpersonal skills.

You can multi-task and prioritize on several research projects; ability to manage workload through effective time management with attention to meeting deadline.

You are resourceful and take initiative with the goal of developing innovative solutions to problems.

You are inquisitive, curious and willing to learn.
Hours: About 20 hours/week; flexible schedule
Compensation: $14/hour
