Assistant Needed for Grant Project, Maine State Library, Augusta ME

The Friends of the Maine State Library have received a planning grant to organize a potential exhibit and/or traveling program on writers and their tools. The project is tentatively titled “From Quill to Computer: A Century of Writers at Work and Readers Reading.”
Under the terms of the planning grant an individual will be hired for 20 hours to investigate the eventual format of the project. Work will be centered at the State Library in Augusta, Maine. Some travel may be required.

Position Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to plan and complete complex tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft products
- Solid background in the Humanities
