Winter/Spring Textual Digitization Internships Available, John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum (Posting #13-DAMS-06)

 

The John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum is currently seeking applicants for part time textual digitization and cataloging internship positions in our Archives Processing and Digitization Unit. Interns will scan and catalog material from various textual collections, including but not limited to series from President Kennedy’s White House Central Subject Files. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining digitization experience in an archives setting.

 

Candidates must be currently enrolled in a graduate program in archival studies or public history. Previous experience processing archival materials is preferred. Interns will receive a monthly stipend of $560 (2 days/week), paid on the 15th of the month. The estimated start date for Winter/Spring internships is December 15th, with an end date of May 14th; renewals for the summer semester (May 15th to August 14th) are possible.
