The Ethel Walker School, a grade 6-12 girls’ boarding school in Simsbury, CT, is seeking a paid intern to work with the library’s collection. The intern’s predominant responsibility will be cataloging and processing materials. Other responsibilities will include creating booklists and displays, developing acquisition lists, and assisting with a major collection shift. Additional unpaid hours are available for other projects.
The ideal candidate will be an MLS student or recent MLS graduate with experience working in an ILS (preferably Evergreen, though any experience is welcomed). In addition, experience working with young adults, in collection development, or in a school environment is preferred.
