Part-Time Library Circulation Clerk, Youth Services, Wayland Public Library

The Wayland Public Library is seeking a person to perform circulation tasks and assist with public services in our busy Youth Services Department.

 

Schedule: One 3-hour weekday shift each week, one 6-hour Saturday shift/month and one 3-hour Sunday shift/month, plus availability to substitute during afternoons and evenings.

 

The successful candidate will have an interest in children’s literature as well as a strong interest in working with youth of all ages, including teens. The job also involves working patiently with parents/caregivers. This job requires flexibility and also the ability to work supportively as part of a team.

 

Must be comfortable working with standard office hardware and software applications. Excellent customer service skills essential. Previous circulation work preferred. Familiarity with computers preferred. Experience with III Millennium Circulation a plus. Pay = $15.00 per hour.
