This is a 14-hour-per-week, one-year position to be evaluated for extension at year’s completion. The
work will initially be conducted on-site, with the option of exploring remote work possibilities when the
work plan is established. Graduate students are encouraged to apply.

  • Perform routine clerical tasks and other duties as assigned.

  • Interest in exploring patron needs and facilitating the discovery of library resources.
  • Curiosity about research, teaching, and reference.
  • Desire to learn about how libraries create and maintain asynchronous resources that
create bridges between users and information.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to complete work in a timely manner.
  • A commitment to diversity and to serving the needs of a diverse population.
  • Library experience, particularly in academic settings, is desired.

of these focuses on the disciplines of the Harvard Graduate School of Design, including architecture,
landscape architecture, and urban planning and design. R&T works closely with the Loeb Librarians, GSD
students, faculty, and, at times, independent design researchers.
