Antioch University seeks an entrepreneurial, student-focused Research and Instruction Librarian to liaise with the School of Counseling, Psychology, and Therapy. This librarian will provide customized research and instructional support, collaborating closely with Program Faculty to develop curriculum-aligned materials. This is a Faculty role, based out of the Antioch University New England (AUNE) Library in Keene, New Hampshire, reporting to the University Librarian. This Librarian will support students and Faculty in the School of Counseling, Psychology & Therapy at the AUNE campus and across the Antioch University System.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Course-Integrated Instruction: Collaborate with program faculty to develop integrated library curriculum ensuring students acquire research and critical thinking skills.
  • Workshops / Seminars / Presentations/Co-Teaching: Design and deliver instructional sessions tailored to the unique needs of students in the assigned School.
  • Personalized Research Consultations: Provide one-on-one instruction and guidance to students, supporting their research process.
  • Outreach: Engage with departments through proactive outreach and provide tailored instruction to meet the unique needs of Counseling, Psychology & Therapy programs.
  • Collaboration: Work with library colleagues to create outreach and instruction
    materials promoting AU Library resources and services.
  • Institutional Citizenship: Represent the library on University committees and governing bodies.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • American Library Association accredited Masters degree
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or extensive experience supporting related programs
  • Minimum of five years providing library services to graduate students
  • Must be able to travel
