Research Associate, Robert Half Executive Search (RHES), Boston, MA (potentially remote)

Research Associates are part of the search execution team that is responsible for identifying, recruiting, and vetting potential candidates. The Research Associate works with Search Associates, Principals and Managing Directors to understand the ideal candidate profile and then create a strategy for identifying the most qualified candidates. Research Associates use multiple resources and databases to source candidates and generate a Candidate Pipeline, in addition to providing key market intelligence to the execution team throughout the lifetime of the search.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Upon client engagement, you will partner with the Managing Director and Search Associate to begin identifying qualified candidates. This partnership continues until the search is completed.
  • Participate in the official search launch with the client and the internal execution team.
  • Use the client kick-off call to develop a market assessment of available talent and come up with target industries, companies, and titles to share with the internal team and advise on initial strategy for identifying candidates.
  • Use multiple resources and databases to generate names of candidates and find their contact information.
  • Create a Candidate Pipeline list using our internal database, Invenias.
  • Communicate daily with Search Associates and MDs about your progress and what you are finding in the market.
  • Participate in search status calls with the client and internal team as necessary.
  • Review the Progress Report in Invenias weekly for feedback on candidate profiles.
  • Partner on multiple search engagements at a time and provide research in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • One to three plus years of experience in sourcing candidates or prospects in the staffing/recruiting, retained search, professional services, or non-profit industry
  • Experience with Salesforce, Invenias or other CRM
  • Knowledge of Boolean logic a plus
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize information and present a clear and concise strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to take direction as well as a willingness to seek clarity when needed and initiate original ideas
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage demanding goals
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of team with integrity and accountability
  • Demonstrated ability to be creative and think outside the box
  • Demonstrated ability to be agile and flexible when projects shift direction
