Library Director, Orford Social Library, Orford, NH

The scenic town of Orford New Hampshire is seeking a dynamic person to embrace the challenge of providing our Orford Social Library community with programs, services and outreach designed to attract a wide variety of patrons and participants. Orford is twenty minutes from Hanover, NH, home of Dartmouth College in the beautiful Upper Valley of the Connecticut River. 

The ideal candidate would demonstrate the creative energy to design events that encourage increased community participation at and through our library. Our library is a valuable town resource, an intellectual haven, and meeting place that seeks to enlighten and entertain residents in our area through imaginative programs and events for all ages. The Library Director has the full support of a committed and enthusiastic board to assist you. 

The position is 25 hours per week including a half day on Saturday and some evening hours. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
A college degree is preferred, with teaching or library experience a plus.
