Temporary full-time position: Knowledge Associate, Parthenon-EY Knowledge Management, Boston, MA

The Knowledge Associate (KA) will provide professional, pro-active support to the Knowledge Management business function in support of Corporate Finance Strategy business development and client case execution.

Under the direction of the KM Supervisor, the Associate will manage the Case Knowledge Database content and case document management process for capturing, cataloging and providing client case deliverables and materials created and procured during client engagements. Knowledge Associate will deliver superior products and customer service to practitioners in accordance with procedures and security parameters.

The Associate may create scrubbed slides, case studies and presentations from existing materials, provide training in self-service EY and CFS tools and informational sites, and connect consultants with internal materials and experts.

In this role, the Associate works alongside consultants at all levels of the firm and with department team members to determine priorities and workflow and surface any barriers to productivity or other issues.

The Associate will “go the extra mile” in providing service in order to develop and foster already established relationships. She or he will utilize a consultative approach, demonstrate a deep knowledge of the work, and the ability to evaluate needs and suggest ideas and materials to meet business needs.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with professional services industry
  • Proficiency in the delivery of research services for new business development and sales
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively on multiple projects in a fast paced, deadline driven, team-oriented environment
  • Superb organizational skills
  • Ability to demonstrate the highest levels of customer service and professionalism to develop, maintain, and enhance relationships
  • Ability to work independently
  • Comfortable with and a quick study in learning new technologies. Getting up to speed quickly is essential.

Role & Responsibilities

Under the direction of the KM Supervisor,

  • Track, create and manage records for case data and document capture
  • Support the Supervisor in responding to requests for internal client data and materials
  • Provide project support for multiple work streams as directed
  • Participate in meetings and coursework to enhance service delivery and knowledge of firm priorities and strategic goals
  • Proactively suggest project or process enhancements to maintain a high level of quality and efficiency in service delivery

Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in a professional services setting at increasing levels of contribution
  • Working understanding of knowledge management as a discipline and practice in a corporate setting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint technologies or similar platforms

Education

  • An MS or degree candidate in Library and Information Science preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required
