Support Services Manager (Librarian III), Suffolk Public Library, Suffolk, MA

Duties Include

  • Manage all Support Services Department operations and staff in the following areas: Information Technology, Collection Management, Technical Services (Acquisitions, Cataloging, and Processing), and Technology Support
  • Lead the development of new initiatives, including the development and application of new technologies and services with a forthcoming new Tech/Bookmobile and four 3D Printers
  • Coordinate with a progressive and collaborative City IT Department to accomplish community-wide goals
  • Grow our ability to meet the technological needs of the community

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Library and Information Science or closely related field and 3 to 5 years of library experience involving information technology/technical services and some supervisory experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.

Salary

$49,198 – $81,983

Certifications Required

Must possess state Library certification.

Requires a valid driver’s license.
