Librarian/Archivist, Windsor Historical Society, Windsor, CT

The Windsor Historical Society, Windsor, CT seeks a Librarian/Archivist to manage and promote its research library and archival collections. The collections complement and support all activities at the Society including two historic houses, exhibit galleries, educational programming, and genealogical research. The Librarian/Archivist solicits library materials and handles acquisition, arrangement and description, preservation, digitization, and reference services for these items. The ideal candidate has a MLS and minimum of two years’ experience, knowledge of current archival management best practices, an ease with related technologies, and will bring a passion for connecting the Society’s library resources with broad and increasing audiences.  28 hours per week, $18-$21/hour.
