Plans, implements and coordinates regional system public services and youth and children’s services and programs in the six counties of the Three Rivers Regional Library System. Work involves youth and children’s programming, member library program coordination, literacy programs, and other possible programming and communication. Reports to Regional Library System Director

Qualifications:
The work requires considerable skill, initiative, independent judgment, professional ethics, and follow through. Ability to exercise mature judgment and maintain confidentiality of administrative matters is required. Nights and weekend work may be necessary. Masters in Library Science from ALA-Accredited program; working knowledge of youth and children’s work, computer programs, background of multiple county system, online search skills, and valid driver’s license. This position may require flexible work hours; reports directly to the Director; is a member of the system’s management team. Excellent communications, both written and spoken, are required. This position requires a team player who is willing to participate in all activities and programs of the regional system.

- Satisfactory criminal background check, a motor vehicle record check, fulfill I9 requirements, and pre-employment drug screening (if required)
- Ability to learn and efficiently operate library computer system and program
