Long-Term Contract Quality Assurance Specialist I: Documentation, Takeda, Cambridge, MA

The Quality Assurance team is seeking a Simmons MLS graduate or current student to join them in a long-term contract role here at Takeda (formerly Millennium) in Cambridge, MA. The pay will be $20-$25/hour.

Position Summary:

The primary focus for this position will be to provide support to the QA Documentation Group.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Specifically, this individual will be responsible to perform the following QA Documentation duties:

• Document management system administration 
• Assist QA Documentation with operational activities including, but not limited to:
  • data entry
  • scanning
  • maintaining files in QFR (quality file room)
  • archiving and assisting with offsite archival processes and procedures
  • compiling reports
  • auditing
  • executing small scale administrative projects
  • updating spreadsheets

Qualifications:

We are looking for a motivated individual with technical acumen, analytical skills, and strong attention to detail. The candidate should also possess the professionalism, communication and interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with employees across the company.

Specifically target skills for this position include:

• Prior experience in biotech/pharma/medical devices industry with exposure to GxP compliance
• Strong analytical and problem solving ability
• The ability to manage small projects
• Collaborative attitude and strong customer service mindset
• Proven work ethic marked by initiative and attention to detail
• Proactive, self-directed working style
• Proficiency with MS Office and Windows 7
